Client CMS Upgrades – July 2010

In our effort to keep all our Clients Web Presences in excellent shape; we will be upgrading our SIMPLY HADDAD Premium Design and Development Client Web Site’s Components and Modules, that use CMSs (Content Management and Blog Systems) and have subscribed for our Monthly/Yearly Maintenance Services.
We will be upgrading all systems that use these Interfaces on the 9th, 10th and 16th and 17th of July 2010 from 22:00 hrs to 23:00hrs (GMT).
We would like to apologize for any interruptions you might face during this period.
We shall take all precautions to ensure that your service will run smoothly before and after this upgrade.

WordPress 3.0 Upgrades

We will also be testing and verifying Client Blogs that are using WordPress 2.8 and 2.9 are able to be upgraded. If all goes well, be prepared for a quick upgrade to Version 3.0 that has been recently launched.

Note:
Please do not attempt to automatically upgrade your Blog System before the Compatibility tests have been completed.
These compatibility tests will ensure that the plugins, themes and widgets within WordPress 2.8 and 2.9 will work and thrive in WordPress 3.0.

Launch and Addition of Ksplice Uptrack

Singapore, SG – Febraury 15, 2010 – SIMPLY HADDAD Networks, a brand under SIMPLY HADDADTM, registered in Singapore (REG. NO. 53107009C) are simply delighted to inform one and all, of the usage of Ksplice Uptrack technology on all SIMPLY HADDAD Web Hosting Machines excluding our 9Dome Brand/s.

What Is Ksplice Uptrack?
Ksplice Uptrack allows you to install kernel updates and security patches on-the-fly without having to reboot the server for the changes to take into affect.

What Does This Mean?

This means that our machines will experience even less downtime as we don’t have to reboot for kernel upgrades and patches. It also has the benefit of making our servers more secure as we can update the kernel more frequently.

How Does This Effect Me?

Ultimately you won’t notice anything different aside from less maintenance windows and the assurance that our servers will always be up-to-date with the newest kernels.

Launch of ZetaAid Support System

Appended below is release from the faithful designers and developers at SIMPLY HADDAD;

It’s with great pleasure that we’d like to inform you, our gracious Clients, Supporters and Guests that;

We have recently upgraded and repackaged our Support System and Web Presence to further assist you.

At “simply haddad”, “It’s all about you!”.

Why ZetaAidTM ?

We wanted to introduce a system and structure that will allow us to communicate with our clients at a whole new level, to bring our services right to your doorstep.

Our Support Team can be reached via our new “Live Chat System”.

If we’re not online, we can be reached via our spanking new and integrated “Support Ticket” system.

Above and beyond these two systems we have introduced a “Project Management System” !

Project Management System Features

There are two ways for our clients to log-in to their Project Management Platform,

1. Via “Left Clicking” on the “Project Management” link at the ZetaAid web portal ( http://www.zetaid.com or http://www.zetaaid.com ).

2. Or you can go straight into the platform by going to http://client.zetaid.com or http://client.zetaaid.com

Once You’ve logged in, you’d be able to view lastest updates, messages, etc. with regards to Projects,

Active Projects that you have engaged us to work on and/or Completed Projects via the “My Projects” Tab.

Introduction

Just as a short brief to the features you’d come across whilst touring the Project Management Platform,

1. Messages

Messages are basically a unique way for us to communicate to you the Tasks that we have undertaken or those that we are planning to undertake,

and/or even Telephone Conversations and/or meeting minutes for future reference.

Comments are allowed to be made to each and every message, for example;

“If we provided Installation Dates, for your website. If you would like to post-pone these dates.

Simply fill out the Comment Box, and send. We’ll than arrange for another date.”

Using messages will allow you, our clients, to further consolidate tasks that we have completed for you.

Without rummaging through your email inbox.

An email will be sent to notify you of updates with regards to messages, comments and/or your Projects Status.

So you will never be left in the dark.

2. Tasks

Tasks are organized in task lists, and every project can have as many task lists as needed.

We may use individual task lists for each phase of your project, or even use task lists to divide a complex task into several sub-tasks.

This is done such that you’ll be kept in the loop with regards to all the steps we undertake, to fulfill all your desires with regards to the project at hand.

3. Milestones

Tasks tell people what to do – milestones tell them when something is due.

A milestone is just a date with a title and a description, but most importantly task lists and messages are assigned to a milestone, for greater simplicity in organizing Tasks and Messages.
